MetaInsight Intestinal Microbiome Solutions
MetaInsight Microbiome Therapy Colonization Tracking
This solution is designed for colonization monitoring and kinetic tracking of microbiome-based therapies, including Live Biotherapeutic Products (LBPs), engineered bacterial therapeutics, and Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT). By performing metagenomic sequencing of patient fecal or intestinal samples, it enables accurate identification of changes in target strain abundance before and after treatment, as well as their colonization patterns within the gut microbiome. This approach helps evaluate the colonization efficiency, persistence, and microbiome remodeling capacity of microbial therapies.
MetaInsight Microbiome Therapeutics Pharmacodynamic (PD) Analysis
As a pharmacodynamic (PD) marker assessment for microbiome-based therapies, this solution is used to evaluate the modulatory effects of microbial interventions on patients’ gut microbiome before and after treatment. Metagenomic sequencing is performed to analyze dynamic changes in patients’ gut microbial communities and monitor alterations in key disease-associated microbial taxa, thereby assessing the impact of microbial therapies on gut ecosystem regulation.
MetaInsight Gut Microbiome Diversity Profiling
This solution supports mechanism of action (MOA) validation and pharmacodynamic evaluation in clinical trials of microbiome-based therapies, providing key data for dose optimization, efficacy assessment, responder prediction, safety evaluation, and gut microbiome response analysis. It can be applied to clinical studies of various gastrointestinal diseases, such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), ulcerative colitis (UC), and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), as well as other microbiome-associated diseases. The solution provides critical data support for therapeutic efficacy evaluation, patient stratification, and mechanism research, and can be customized according to customers’ specific requirements.
Advantages
  • Align with Regulatory Trends
Comply with regulatory requirements and review criteria for whole-genome sequencing of Live Biotherapeutic Products (LBPs).
  • End-to-End Life Cycle Coverage
Integration of colonization tracking, PD marker analysis, and microbiome diversity profiling provides a comprehensive evidence chain for clinical trials, from MOA validation to safety assessment.
  • High Resolution and Broad Coverage
It enables the identification of 12,065 bacterial species, 515 fungal species, and 7,312 viral species, supporting strain-level analysis and functional gene profiling.
  • Comprehensive Performance Verification
End-to-end methodological validation from sample processing to data analysis has been completed, achieving a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.8117, a repeatability CV of only 4.12%, and a limit of detection (LoD) for individual bacteria as low as 1 in 10,000.
  • Extensive Project Experience
More than 20 clinical cohort studies have been conducted, with over 5,000 samples tested in total, an annual testing capacity exceeding 500 samples, and a database establishment success rate of >99%.
